Brothers Geoff & Steve began building tray bodies in their parents shed in the early 90s, they had no idea that the Ryder trademark would trend across Queensland and throughout the rest of Australia so rapidly.
They quickly recognised that the back yard shed in Julia Creek was not going to be big enough for the high demand of their product. The brothers and their families made the big decision to relocate to Townsville, with the move came increased manufacturing capability, a streamlined operation and a highly skilled and professional team encouraging an ever-growing customer base.
With over 40 years combined experience and distributing solely from the Rydweld headquarters in North Queensland, Steve, Geoff and their valued employees continue to be motivated in delivering a quality product. The family business pride themselves on building and fitting “what the customer wants”.
